YPS and The Resilience Project

Creating resilient students requires a whole community approach and at Yarrambat Primary School, we embrace that with all our families.

YPS - Staff have been to various Personal Development sessions recently, to ensure that they're taking the neccessary steps to look after themselves. If we can be the best version of ourselves, then that will resonate with our students. We also practise what we we preach, which we know is a huge factor for students when considering new learning or decision making.

Community - Term 2's Digital Wellbeing for Families was hosted at YPS after school. This gave a great insite for parents in managing screentime and online scenerios. Please see the Parent and Carers page on the TRP website for some helpful tips.

Everyday - The sign posts around our school spark conversation which are steered towards students looking at the positives of their day. "WWW" (What Went Well) is a great way to start the after school talk. In fact, every meeting at this school with staff starts with the same "WWW"
